Warsaw,   October 2020 - March 2021.

Tens of thousands of women protested against Poland's new abortion laws across the country from October 2020 until March 2021.  A court ruling on 22 October 2020 banned almost all abortions - with exceptions only for cases of rape, incest  or when the mother's health is at risk. Abortions carried out when the fetus is malformed, which accounted for 98% of legal terminations in previous  years, have now been outlawed..
